San Carlos in the last year or so has had quite a "boom" in existing home sales. Due to low inventories in this "re-sale" market we have expanded our Land/Home Package services, and here's how it works.
One of our representatives will take you on a tour of our residential lots inventory and home projects in construction, after selecting and purchasing the lot of your choice we will then pair you with one of several Building Contractors we recommend (based on history and track record) to begin the design phase for your dream home. We advise taking the proper time to do the complete design before construction begins to avoid cost over runs. Making changes after construction begins is expensive and slows the process. Current home construction costs on a level lot will be around $60-$65 USD per Sq. Ft. as an average and up (depending on finish quality, fixtures etc. and the contractor). For owners who can not be here to over see the process we will give regular updates with photos by email and manage the project so it is completed in a correct (making sure all required permits and labor issues are done) and in a timely manner, with minimal "hassle" to assure you receive the home you want, the way you want it, and in many cases below the cost of buying an existing home. In this type of project at least one trip here to pick colors, fixtures, floors etc. will be required.
