DESCRIPTION
The San Carlos Marina is located in one of the most most beautiful bays in the Sea of Cortez, and it is the largest natural port in the entire nation. Clear turquoise water is surrounded by mountains and peaks that make San Carlos a favorite destinations for Sonorans, Arizonans and other residents from the American southwest. Fishing and diving are among the best in Mexico and temperatures are comfortable year-round. San Carlos has close to 365 days a year of sunshine. |

Grupo Situr has developed
400 boat slips at the marina, and 200 more are pending. In back of the
Marina is the Hotel Marina Terra, which offers rooms and condominiums.
Situr has also developed an 18-hole golf course behind the marina, which
was designed by Pete Roy Dye |

CHARACTERISTICS
Situr properties offer memberships to the public. Clubs include those devoted to yachting, golf, air and beach activities. The 400 slips are located just the right of the restaurant, pool and bar of Marina Terra. An air strip of 5,000 feet has been developed to permit private aircraft to land in San Carlos. (Nearby Guaymas, a 10-minute drive, has an international airport with full customs and immigration services). |
